Week 10!

As the semester is coming to end, I finally went out and shot my final photography assignment. Since the weather is getting warmer and summer is near, I convinced my roommates to help me out with this shoot. I have always wanted to photograph someone playing with sparklers, so that is what I did. These are some of my favorite pictures from that night. It was so much fun and I learned a lot from it. The last picture shown, is my final project that is being displayed in the student art show here at Bethany. I'm really happy with how it turned out and I am so happy to have taken this internship with Missy!

Week 9!

College is where you make your life long friends. Here at Bethany I have certainly made some friends that I know will last beyond my years here. This girl here is seriously so beautiful! She is so funny and sweet and just fun to hang around and be with! I am so glad that I was able to help her out and take some pictures for her to use to get her to the next step on getting her dream job! It was easy to photograph her and get her natural smile, because there is never a dull moment when the two of us are together! Thanks for being my model Anna, you are so beautiful and I am glad I get to have you as one of my best friends!  

Week 8!

The photos this week were taken over my spring break a few weeks back . I went home for a few days and decided to photograph the farm and the animals I had worked at for 7 years. It was such a fun time and each of the cows have such a goofy and unique personality. It is always fun to reminisce on the fun times and memories that were made on the farm.

Week 7

Here are some of the photos of the wedding that I went to with Missy Vandermause at the end of January. It was an awesome experience for me! It was the first time I have ever helped or even shot at a wedding. It was a blast and I learned so much. Thank you Missy for the opportunity!

Week 6!

It is hard for me to believe that I am already halfway through my second semester of my junior year of college. This midterm week has been crazy and busy. Between prepping for my hockey pregame show and studying for my midterm exams, it was nice to go out and photograph God's beautiful creation. You wouldn't have guessed by looking at these pictures but we did just get a blizzard here in Mankato less than a week ago. 

Week 5!

Ever since coming to college, hockey has been a big part of my life. Before coming to Bethany, I had never really watched a hockey game or knew much about the sport. But being apart of the Maverick Hockey Weekend Broadcast has been an awesome opportunity for me to not only learn about hockey but to be able to have the experience of being a part of an actual broadcast. So for this week's photos, I decided to take some pictures of what has been a big part of my life the past three years.

Week 4!

This week I photographed my awesome roommate! I am very thankful her and her fiancé were willing to be my models for this weeks blog! It was so much fun to go out to the park and Tandem Bagels.
